Yaumati Feww Service.
We are requested by the present licensees of the piers
used in connection with the Taumati Ferry who have been
carrying on such service since its institution to inform you
that they understand that the Government contemplate imposing
changed conditions in respect of such service on the expira-
tion of the current permits for the piers. And they under-
stand application has been made to the Government by a local
syndicate for a concession in respect of such service,
Our clients have instructed us to put forward a similar
application on their behalf and this is in course of
preparation.
In the meantime our clients would ask that no determina-
tion should be come to by the Government as to granting any
fresh concession for the service until our clients' appli-
cation has been received.
